Rubel designed the Kitchen and Laundry of Waldorf Astoria Chengdu with his previous employment. Waldorf Astoria Located in the heart of Chengdu’s economic engine at the end of the crown of China’s emerging city. The Waldorf Astoria Chengdu has 289 rooms with 4 restaurants and 3 bars.

The EMPORIO restaurant at level 1 has a nice coffee bar for a quick snack with ambient display cases. The Brasserie 99’s all-day restaurant at level 49 is a perfect reflection and enjoyable atmosphere to a European-style restaurant which highlights an adjustable grill, pizza oven, and a cold buffet station which gives the dinner an enormous experience of the city view. The Yun-Chinese restaurant at level 50 serves fine Cantonese cuisine.

Kirin Pickpocket restaurant at level 51 allows guests to enjoy a luxurious dining experience in a relaxed and enjoyable environment to taste fresh grill meat and fish from an Argentinian and fish grill with a display of a walk-in meat aging room. The Sip Bar creates a warm and charging atmosphere where guests can sample a selection of wines from around the world. The Rooftop Bar on the top floor of the hotel is a popular choice for gatherings of the city’s famous and social elite. A DJ station with free and pleasant jazz music reverberated over the 52nd floor, the selection of whisky and cocktail spirits mixed with the sparkle produced wonderful chemistry that made every guest enjoy it.
