Rubel designed the Kitchen of Hilton Yala Resort with his previous employment. Hilton Yala Resort Located along the pristine coastline of Yala, an elephant track cuts across the resort creating a unique experience for guests who would like to get up-close and personal with wildlife. It is in proximity to Yala National Park in Sri Lanka.
The resort has two restaurants and 2 bars which are inspired by safari chic and the natural beauty of Yala. The two dining venues can be run as one for breakfast or theme nights. One of the restaurants transforms from a residential lounge during the day into a vibrant bar in the evening, serving light meals and drinks throughout the day. Hot breakfast will be prepared a -la minute and served from the back of the house kitchen. The ambient table is designed to be both functional and decorative and the cold reach-in ice well can be closed off with a flexible panel after service. The lounge bar is designed to serve the famous Sri-Lankan tea with a western barista coffee station, it serves Sri-Lankan’s beer in the evening. The Pool bar with a Western concept, which is designed to be a key social hub for hotel guests of all ages, that welcomes guests from lunch until dinner, and evening drinks.
